Improved Racing - Oil cooler line adapter for Porsche 944 S2 & 928
Improved Racing's oil cooler adapter for the Porsche 944 S2 and late model 928 allows you to convert the aging factory oil cooler lines to AN lines or connect an aftermarket oil cooler. Because the factory lines have been discontinued, this is often the only option available.
The 944 S2 uses these twin ports on both the engine block and oil cooler. The adapter fits the factory oil cooler and will bolt up to the block, the there is not enough clearance for fittings with the factory timing cover in place. Modifications are required to make this adapter work on the engine block side of the 944 S2 engine.
The later year (1990-1995) Porsche 928 generally uses these twin ports on the engine block side only. Some 928 models may have an oil cooler with these twin ports as well, but more commonly they are independent ports on opposite ends of the cooler.
The oil line ports are -10AN O-ring boss ports and adapters are available for -10AN and -12AN lines.
